Is emery-cured flooring good?
In the selection of industrial floor materials, emery cured floors occupy an important position due to their unique performance advantages. Compared with common floor paints, they show differentiated characteristics in
many aspects.

The core advantages of emery cured floors are very significant. Firstly, they have super wear resistance and pressure resistance. Their hardness is much higher than that of ordinary floor paints, and they can easily
withstand the long-term rolling and friction of forklifts and heavy machinery. Even in high-intensity use scenarios such as logistics warehouses and workshops, they can effectively resist wear and reduce ground damage.
At the same time, they have excellent pressure resistance and can carry heavy equipment ranging from several tons to dozens of tons, greatly reducing the risk of ground depression and cracking, which is difficult for many
floor paints to match.
Secondly, the dust-proof and easy-to-clean characteristics make them favored in places with high cleanliness requirements. The surface of the cured emery floor is dense and smooth, which can effectively inhibit dust. Daily
cleaning only requires clean water or simple wiping. Compared with some floor paints that need frequent waxing and maintenance, it saves a lot of maintenance energy. Therefore, in places with high cleanliness requirements
such as electronics factories and food workshops, choosing emery cured floors is very appropriate.
Furthermore, chemical corrosion resistance and weather resistance are also major highlights. It can resist the erosion of various chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and greases, and can maintain stable performance in special
environments such as chemical plants and laboratories. Moreover, it has good high-temperature resistance and is not easy to deform or be damaged in high-temperature environments, which is more advantageous than
some floor paints that are not resistant to high temperatures.
In addition, economy and long service life are another important advantage of emery cured floors. Its construction period is short, and it can be constructed synchronously with concrete, thereby reducing the overall
construction cost. More importantly, its service life can reach more than 10 years, which is much longer than that of some ordinary floor paints. At the same time, the maintenance cost is low, and there is no need for
frequent renovation, which can save a lot of costs in long-term use.
Of course, emery cured floors also have certain limitations. In terms of decoration, they are slightly insufficient. The color options are relatively limited, mainly including gray, green, red, etc. Moreover, low-quality products
are prone to fading. In terms of aesthetics, they are not as good as epoxy floor paints, which are rich in color and have diverse decorative effects.
Insufficient impermeability is also an obvious shortcoming. Oil stains, liquids, etc. are easy to penetrate into the interior of the floor. Once penetrated, cleaning will be very difficult. Therefore, it is not suitable for machining
workshops with frequent oil stains. In this regard, some floor paints with good impermeability can better meet the needs.
In addition, the construction conditions are relatively strict. It requires the concrete base to be completely dry. Generally, the construction of emery cured floors can only be carried out more than 15 days after the
construction of the concrete base, and it must be combined with curing agent penetration treatment. Otherwise, problems such as sanding are easy to occur, which have higher requirements on the construction schedule
and technology.
In summary, emery cured floors are suitable for priority selection in industrial workshops and logistics warehouses that need to bear heavy loads and high-frequency friction; they are also ideal for environments with limited
budgets but pursuing long service life and low maintenance costs; at the same time, in places with cleanliness requirements but low decorative needs, such as underground garages, they can also play a good role. However,
in high-oil-stain areas and commercial spaces with strict aesthetic requirements, emery cured floors are not recommended, and choosing appropriate floor paints may be more appropriate for such scenarios.
